Wedding bells are in the air as DC unveils the first look at the highly anticipated wedding between two iconic Superman Family members—Lana Lang and John Henry Irons, aka Steel. This wedding has been teased for months, making its arrival all the more exciting, especially since the post-ceremony reception seems poised to feature an epic battle.

While the release is still a few months away, DC has just dropped a textless preview of the issue, giving fans their first official look at the Superman-Family wedding between Lana Lang—Clark’s ex-girlfriend and former Superwoman—and John Henry Irons, the genius engineer and inventor who has stepped in for the Man of Steel on multiple occasions, becoming an iconic hero in his own right.

While most readers know Lana Lang as Clark’s first love, DC’s Rebirth era redefined her character, giving her a role beyond just being the Man of Steel’s love interest. Due to changes brought on by Точка Возгорания, there were two versions of Superman, and when one of them died, Lana absorbed the dispersed energy from his body, gaining a Superman-esque powerset of her own. With these new abilities, Lana became Superwoman, fighting alongside Superman and officially joining the Super-Family. However, Lana eventually lost her powers and returned to her normal life, which also sparked a romance with John Henry «Стали» Утюги.
Lana Lang’s powers were later restored as an unintended side effect of John Henry Irons attempting to provide Metropolis with free energy using Genesis.

While fans get two pages of heartfelt wedding moments, the third and final page takes a drastic turn as Superman is blasted with a brutal uppercut from Parasite, teasing some action-packed fight scenes in this special.
